Cute! Your cat reminds me of my mother's one who liked to sleep on mother's pillow. One night mother comfortably put her head upon cat's back without noticing the cat sleeping on her pillow. My mother was taken aback, but the cat didn't run away, but just grrr..(I don't find the right word in englisch. In German "schnurr". It should be similar.) The cat might feel being petted. Our dog was extremly jealous of the car. Every time the cat was petted by mother, he barked and barked, finally drove the cat from mother's lap. To her babys though he was very nice.
For me, it's very difficult to take pictures of animals, especially cats, because they are constatly in motion.
Hi lotus! I too would be taken aback if my pillow started growling.
Animals can be tough to get on film. Slow shutter speeds are less of a problem now that the overlords are older (and slower), but when they were kittens I photographed a lot of streaks of kinetic energy. Or sometimes just the destruction in their wake.
Cute!
