  2. YES!! Making that 1001, at least. I love Harriet Walter. And incidentally, I think an all-female RSC Richard III may be the best Shakespeare I've seen live.

  3. Or imagine a gender-switched Henry V, with those two bit parts for women played by men, and all the kings and nobles played by women. Now THAT I'd pay gold to see.

  5. The Richard III was in 2003, with Kathryn Hunter. I thought she was really excellent (as was Amanda Harris' Buckingham,) though of course the idea of Fiona Shaw's Richard is tremendously exciting. Ditto the Henry V.
