Me too! I could listen to Tony M play Monteverdi all day long, so I keep hitting repeat - Mr Greenfield will be wondering who these people are driving up his stats all of a sudden :-)
And it does make me think about getting my poor Larrivee into playable condition...[sigh]
Which issue of Larrivee do you have? Mine's a vintage classical (read old and neglected) made in Granada. I did treat it to a new case recently - the old ones were so heavy. We have a good firm here called Tom and Will who do robust soft cases for most things but haven't found one yet specifically for Northumbrian pipes!
This is going to keep me pleasantly occupied for ages :) Nice one!

ReplyDeleteAh, how does that sound? Lovely, I bet. They really do make beautiful guitars. Mine's a OO-09.
DeleteIt does sound lovely in the right hands - not necessarily mine!
DeleteBravo!
ReplyDeleteThis piece is touching. No wonder the countertenor Franco Fagioli whom I adore sings it often as encore.
I was just listening to him in that Artaserse from Lausanne :-)
