Have they renovated the inside much? (This is Wharton's home in Lenox, MA, right?) I saw it in like 2001 or 2002, and they'd redone some the rooms inside to look like they did when she lived there, but I don't think the renovators were quite done yet.
I didn't do the tour and it was my first visit, so I can't say for sure how far they've come since then on the interior. I can tell you the scullery still needs work :-)
There was an article in the New Yorker a few years back on the org's reacquisition of her library. In some ways the history of the place is more interesting in the hundred years since she left than in the ten years she was there.
