  2. Thanks for posting this. What an amazing woman! If you figure out what the Gaelic word for measles is...lemme know. I was unable to pick it out of the song!

    1. I know, I couldn't quite figure out why it was measles as opposed to anything else. Probably it really translates into "Pox of Naples".

    2. In fact, now I think about it, it may even be spelled out p-o-x-o-f-n-a-p-l-e-s in the lyrics, but it's Scots Gaelic, so you would never know, because half the letters will only be there to change the pronunciation of the other half. [/grouse]
