I've probably posted this before, but Jean Ritchie was a mighty songwriter of the kind we need more of right now, especially as the Hairpiece Administration feather their own nests at the expense of the people they claim to represent.

ReplyDeleteIf you made a Venn diagram of bluegrass fans and Strauss fans, Festus would be sharing the center with most other cats, Peter Schikele, and a certain number of Old Songs people, and it would be a larger segment than most people would think.
