Miau. The guitarist, ist that you? I love guitar music and tried to learn to play it, in vain. To less patient or not talent for string instrument:-)
I've deleted my blog at blogspot. Can you list operasora.eu on your site? Sorry to bother you.
It's very hard to run own domain, because I have little knowledge about comoputer technic. This morning a hacker has attempted Ddos attack which I've successfully defended. I don't know how long my blog could survive:-)
Here in Germany the website operator including blogger is subject to the law of imprint, unless you write about your house or your dog. That means you should provide your real name and adresse on your site. This regulation is unconstitutional, violation of the right of self-determination with regard to public information. Germen bloggers however don't protest aginst it. What I can do is, either I sue Germany, or close my blog, or carry on a password-protected website.
About 10 days ago I saw and heard Brenda Rae, an American soprano, as Lucia at the Oper Frankfurt. She's got a beautiful voice, but what impressed me most was the way she sang. Full of feeling and emotion. Never seen and heard such a moving Lucia before. At the moment american singers are quite successful in the european opera scene. One of my current farovite tenors is Bryan Hymel whom I heard live as Edgar only once. At that night I had to struggle with jetlag, but eveytime he sang, I was wide awake. Have a good day!
Ah, no, the guitar player is the Special Envoy. My cats leave the room if I pick up a guitar.
Thanks for the blog update, I will fix the link. Vis a vis online ID, I expect Google will at some point start demanding it of US bloggers, at which point I'm out.
Heard a little of Brenda Rae in Semele from Seattle last spring, fantastic! I've only heard Bryan Hymel in the Met Troyens a couple of years ago, but thought he held up pretty well :)
Miau.
