ReplyDeleteMine was a case of Deutsche Grammophone LPs with greatest Classical hits. Some of them had Torna mi a vagheggiar, and La ci darem la mano, and overture for Fidelio, and such.
ReplyDeleteOh maybe it was the TV broadcasts of the Vienna New Year's concert? Yeah, probably that, because it goes waaay back.
And of all that, what was the first thing that really seized you? And what was the first one you went to?
